Introducing Challenges 2017

"Green City" is an open source category, which means students are welcome to use any brands robotics kits or material from other parties. It is designed to increase variety of solutions in robotics design. There is no age restrictions in this category.

Junior category is designed for students from grade 3 to grade 6. Students are asked to design a autonomous robot in order to finish different tasks. For the year of 2017, only LEGO Mindstorms robotics systems are allowed in this category. Topics from this category are designed and tested by our strategic partner Zone01 Robotics.

"MI" stands for "Multiple Interests". This category is designed to increase interesting topics to match the scene of th year of local culture. For the year of 2017, ORC has introduced the topic "Hockey" in our Montreal international challenge. This topic is designed and tested by our strategic partner Zone01 Robotics.
